The English Language Department held the Closing Ceremony of the Academic Year 2017-2018 and Graduation Ceremony

With the permission of the Board of Directors of Lac Hong University, at 08:30 on December 1st, 2018, the Faculty of English Language solemnly held the Closing Ceremony of the Academic Year 2017-2018 and Graduation Ceremony at Tran Bien Assembly Hall, Buu Long Ward, Bien Hoa, Dong Nai - to reward students with high achievements in study, and award diplomas to more than 90 new bachelors.

     Attending the ceremony were Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Lan - Vice Rector of the school; Dr. Lam Thanh Hien - Vice Rector; Leaders of Departments, Faculties, and Centers in the University, and faculty staffs. In addition, there was the presence of the Alumni Liaison Committee of the English Language Department, guests from businesses and all students in the Faculty.

     At the beginning of the ceremony, there were exciting welcoming performances from faculty students, then, Mrs. Ngo Thi Xuan Lien, Head of the Faculty of English Language approved the summary report of the 2017-2018 school year to summarize the successes and some outstanding issues in the past school year, and set goals and directions for the new school year 2018-2019. From this school year, besides part-time foreign lecturers, the Faculty also has full-time lecturers who are foreigners, and has a summer study program in the US for ours students. In particular, all faculty students will study in a modern air-conditioned lab, suitable classrooms for language learning at campus 2, which is considered as the most beautiful campus in LHU. In addition to the English language, faculty students will learn the second language and management knowledge according to social needs. In particular, all faculty members of the Faculty will be trained and applied vividly new teaching methods following the goal of "Every day to school is a happy day".

     Following the ceremony, in recognition of the students' continuous efforts during the past school year, the School and Faculty of English Language rewarded 13 students with excellent graduation records and 50 students with excellent results at school year 2017-2018. Awarding scholarships for students with difficult circumstances to overcome learning difficulties to 4 students and 11 union officials with excellent achievements in the movement of the past school year.

     On behalf of the School Board of Directors, speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Lan - Vice Rector of the school highly appreciated the achievements of the Faculty of English Language in the school year 2017-2018 and conveyed the wishes of the Rector Board to the Faculty to encourage the Faculty of English Language to continuously achieve better results in the new school year 2018 - 2019.

     The end of the ceremony is a ceremony to award diplomas to more than 90 new bachelors. After this moment, the students have officially graduated from LHU - the house that we had been together for more than four years in college. However, the university and lecturers of the Faculty of English Language are still monitoring every step of their growth, development, and achievements on the future path.
