Economic Law. Are You Worried About Tuition Fees? Do Not Worry, Lac Hong University Is Here for You

I believe that if you have chosen university as the foundation for your success, your initial wish would be to study at one of the top universities in the country. However, countless reasons may prevent you from fulfilling that dream. It is at such moments that different turning points in life can also lead you to success. My journey in choosing a university was just like that.

    Scholarships for New Students

I am a young man from a rural district in Binh Thuan. Currently, I am a third-year student majoring in Economic Law at The Faculty of Administration International Economics, Lac Hong University. As you may know, obtaining a scholarship is not easy; it requires meeting various conditions such as academic performance, family circumstances, and the limited number of scholarships available. This increases competition and reduces the likelihood of receiving one. However, Lac Hong University offers a scholarship policy for new students upon enrollment, with multiple categories corresponding to different eligibility criteria. I was fortunate to meet the requirements for the “Youth Leader” scholarship, valued at 30% of tuition fees. In 2020, my annual tuition fee was 26 million VND, which was a substantial amount for my family. Thanks to this scholarship, I decided to study here.

Each year, the University and The Faculty of Administration International Economics award scholarships to students.

We often think that tuition reduction applies only once, but that is not the case. At Lac Hong University, students can maintain their scholarship package each semester if they achieve good or excellent academic performance and comply with regulations. This policy motivated me to strive for academic excellence and maintain good conduct. In my first and second years, I achieved this goal, receiving a total reduction of 7.8 million VND per year. This significantly eased my tuition burden and continues to motivate me to strive in my third year.

Each year, the University and The Faculty of Administration International Economics award scholarships to students.

I find the policy of maintaining enrollment scholarships at Lac Hong University both meaningful and commendable. Not all universities offer such policies, especially when tuition fees at many institutions are quite high. This support greatly assists students and motivates them to study harder. In addition to the enrollment scholarship policy, I am also grateful to the University for the Mabuchi loan policy with 0% interest. Although this policy is limited to several dozen new students and the loan amount per disbursement is not large, it has nonetheless helped me manage my study expenses more effectively.

As a student of The Faculty of Administration International Economics, I also receive support from scholarships sponsored by enterprises each semester for students who have not yet completed their tuition payments. Beyond financial support, listening to the sharing sessions of members of the Faculty-level Industry Advisory Board about the challenges they faced as students and their empathy for younger generations provides us with strong motivation. It helps us understand that although everyone may face personal difficulties on the path to success, we always receive support and encouragement from those around us. This is a powerful motivation for every student to pursue and achieve their dreams.

    Accommodation and Living Expenses

One of the reasons I chose to study at Lac Hong University is that the cost of living here is suitable for someone from a rural background. Compared to my hometown, prices here are not significantly higher. For students living away from home, accommodation is often the primary concern. There is no need to worry. The University provides a very well-equipped student dormitory, with facilities in each room meeting students’ daily living needs, including pillows and mattresses, study desks, air conditioners, wardrobes, drinking water, Wi-Fi, and hot and cold water. On the day I moved in, I did not need to rush to buy or prepare anything, as the dormitory had already provided everything. I only needed to check in and rest after a long journey.

In conclusion, throughout my academic journey, I am deeply grateful for the care from the University and for the scholarship policies that are maintained each semester. They have given me the motivation to study diligently without excessive concern about high tuition fees beyond my family’s means. I hope that many other students will also receive scholarships suited to them to ease their tuition burden. Thank you, Lac Hong University, for what you have given to students.
