With the motto "learning goes hand in hand with practice", theoretical learning goes hand in hand with practical learning outside businesses and tourist attractions. During the middle days of March - Youth month, the AIE, LHU organized a field study trip for class: 21QD111 with the theme " Heritage Road in the Central of Vietnam ". During this trip, students of class 21QD111 explored and learned about famous destinations such as Nha Trang, Hoi An, Da Nang and the romantic city: Hue.
The journey began in the evening of March 10, 2024 with a route from Bien Hoa through our country's new highways so that students could visualize the route in building the upcoming travel program of the field of TTM. Starting the journey to explore tourist destinations is Ponnaga Tower, a unique architectural work with unique spiritual and cultural values. Students were guided through the history and significance of the tower, and learned about how religious tourism can contribute to sustainable tourism development. An indispensable tourist destination when visiting the coastal city is the tourist island Vinpearl Nha Trang, a famous destination for its beautiful beaches and diverse entertainment activities. Students had the opportunity to experience not only the natural beauty but also the development of the tourism industry here. They also witness the professional management and business model in one of Vietnam's leading resorts.
Next, coming to Hoi An, we continued our journey to Hoi An, an ancient city recognized a UNESCO world cultural heritage. Students have expanded their knowledge of tourism management in a unique historical and cultural environment, learning about the process of preserving and developing tourism in a cultural heritage. Besides, you can immerse yourself in the rural beauty and traditional games of Cua Dai coastal fishermen with experiential activities at the Bay Mau Coconut Forest tourist area.
Coming to Da Nang, the first place to visit is Ngu Hanh Son - the most scenic spot in Da Thanh and learn about traditional craft villages famous for beautiful stone handicraft products. This has helped them realize the importance of preserving and developing traditional occupations in the tourism industry. The next stop is Linh Ung Pagoda and especially the Ba Na Hills tourist area, where students can experience not only natural beauty but also tourism management and operations in a diverse environment, world-class adventure tourism and entertainment activities.
The final point of the trip is Hue Ancient Capital with must-see landmarks such as Hue Citadel, Khai Dinh mausoleum, Thien Mu pagoda, Truong Tien bridge, Dong Ba market... captivating visitors when they visit poetic Hue. Students visited the inspiring historical space of Hue, where they discovered unique cultural and architectural relics. They learned about how to manage and preserve cultural heritage in a tourist environment, especially by visiting Khai Dinh Tomb - a monumental architectural work.
This practical study trip gave students of class 21QD111 a profound experience in the travel and tourism industry. They not only discovered the beauty of famous tourist destinations but also became aware of the challenges and opportunities in managing and developing sustainable tourism. This trip will be an important turning point in the students' career development and help them apply the knowledge that they have learned in real work for the future.
