On March 7, 2026, the Faculty of Information Technology at Lac Hong University (LHU), in collaboration with the Vietnam E-commerce Association (VECOM), successfully organized the Ecom Tour, introducing the Ecommerce Passport training scholarship. The event aimed to strengthen the connection between the university, the association, and enterprises, while providing students with practical exposure to the e-commerce industry and the digital business ecosystem.
The program attracted nearly 400 students, not only from the E-commerce major but also from various other -faculties, including English Language, Mechatronics – Electronics, Finance – Accounting, and Administration – International Economics. This demonstrates the growing interest among students in e-commerce, online business, and digital marketing—fields currently facing high human resource demands amidst the digital transformation era.
Distinguished guests representing the Vietnam E-commerce Association included Mr. Phan Dinh Thien Chuong – Deputy Chief of the VECOM Office, and Mr. Nguyen Phuong Lam – Deputy Southern Representative of VECOM. Their presence highlighted VECOM's commitment and partnership in supporting educational institutions to develop high-quality human resources for the e-commerce sector.
From Lac Hong University, the event welcomed Dr. Huynh Cao Tuan – Vice Rector, along with leadership representatives from the Faculty of Information Technology, including M.Sc. Nguyen Minh Son – Vice Dean, and M.Sc. Bui Thi Thu Trang – Head of the E-commerce Department, alongside numerous faculty members and students.

The speakers provided diverse practical perspectives on Affiliate Marketing, development trends within the e-commerce ecosystem, and how businesses can expand retail operations through publisher networks and digital platforms. Additionally, students were advised on essential skills and career opportunities currently available in the e-commerce landscape.
Beyond the professional knowledge shared, the program introduced the Ecommerce Passport Training Scholarship. This initiative, launched by the e-commerce ecosystem in coordination with VECOM, is designed to help students access practical knowledge and hands-on skills in the field.
Through this program, students have the opportunity to:
