Japanese Studies-majored students ready for a professional working environment in Japan

In the context of globalization, promoting international cooperation has become an indispensable factor for education quality improvement. LHU has been doing this, via many cooperation programs with foreign businesses, to create internship and employment opportunities for students in international markets.

A delegation from Kato Pleasure Group (KPG), Japan on August 20 afternoon visited and worked with LHU, at the same time awarding certificates to 13 students who successfully completed the KPG's Japanese language course.

The KPG was represented by Mr. Hisaya Yoshikawa - CEO; Ms. Nguyen Tra Ngan - Manager of KPG Hotel & Resort; and Mr. Takeuchi Kazumichi - Representative Director of Sekai Jinzai Co., Ltd.

Welcoming the delegation were Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam - Vice Rector; Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhu Thuong - Vice Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies; Mr. Hoang Tien Dung - Deputy Head of the Office of International Affairs; Ms. Tran Thi Gai - Head of the Department of Japanese Studies; along with lecturers and students of the Department.

Earlier, LHU and KPG signed a MoU on paid internship programs in Japan for Japanese Studies majors. The two sides have gradually built a sustainable cooperative relationship through many programs in order to create optimal conditions for students to experience and develop in an international environment. Apart from providing students with internship and job opportunities after graduation, the program helps students gain knowledge and skills, experience and learn about the Japanese culture and professional working styles. These important factors help students feel more confident to enter the international labor market.

LHU has been constantly striving to promote international cooperation ties, especially in education and cultural exchange. Through programs like this, LHU has created many opportunities for students to access the global working environment, while asserting its position in cooperation with foreign partners. Promoting international cooperation also significantly contributes to improving the University's education quality, opening many new doors for students in the future.
