Faculty of Mechatronics and Electronics' Traditional Football Tournament opens

On March 9 afternoon, 2024, the Faculty of Mechatronics and Electronics, LHU solemnly organized the opening ceremony of the "Traditional Football Tournament 2024" at the Physical Education Center. The tournament aims to create a healthy playground and opportunities for all students to exchange, learn from each other, improve health, and promote solidarity towards the 93rd anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

DSc. Pham Van Toan - Dean of the Faculty of Mechatronics and Electronics, Deputy Secretary of Party Cell 5 attended the ceremony, along with Ms. Truong Le Bao Trinh - Secretary of the University Youth Union, lecturers and staff members.

This year’s tournament sees the participation of 15 teams with nearly 150 athletes from classes of the 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 courses.

Under the tournament’s rules, all teams will compete in the qualifying rounds according to groups A, B, C including 30 matches. The 2 most outstanding teams in each group will compete in the semi-final rounds.

On the opening day of the tournament also took place exciting matches between the following teams: 21CD111 – 20OT111; 22OT112 - 21OT113; 22CD111 – 22TD111 and 21OT111 - 23DC111.
