Accounting students participate in experiential learning at Kien Long Bank – Dong Nai Branch

On the morning of May 10, 2025, the Faculty of Finance and Accounting at Lac Hong University organized a field visit and experiential learning session at Kien Long Commercial Joint Stock Bank – Dong Nai Branch for students of class 24KT111, majoring in Finance and Banking. This extracurricular academic activity aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, enabling students to gain direct exposure to a professional banking environment.

At the beginning of the program, representatives from Kien Long Bank provided an overview of the bank’s history, strategic direction, organizational structure, and key products and services currently offered. In particular, students were given valuable insights into real-world banking operations, recruitment requirements, and the nature of the actual working environment.

The interactive session between students and bank representatives was lively and engaging. Numerous questions were raised regarding internship opportunities, the essential skills required for positions such as tellers and credit officers, and the potential for career development at Kien Long Bank. The information shared during this exchange helped students gain clearer career orientation and served as a strong motivational foundation as they prepare for upcoming internships.

At the conclusion of the visit, representatives from the Faculty of Finance and Accounting presented a commemorative gift and extended sincere gratitude to Kien Long Bank for its support and for providing students with the opportunity to learn and engage in a real-world setting. The group took souvenir photos and returned to the university at 11:00 a.m.

This visit not only allowed students to reinforce their academic knowledge but also gave them the opportunity to develop communication skills, enhance observational abilities, and become more familiar with the workplace culture in the banking sector. The Faculty of Finance and Accounting remains committed to expanding enterprise engagement activities to support students on their path to professional growth.
